Friends of the Glenlee
The Friends of the Glenlee is a recognised Scottish Charity (No. SC035557) which aims to create an awareness of the maritime heritage of the River Clyde, support the objectives of the Clyde Maritime Trust in its educational work and the further development of Glenlee.

Support the Glenlee
The Tall Ship at Riverside is owned by the Clyde Maritime Trust, a registered Scottish Charity. We depend on support from the public and other donors to fund the upkeep and restoration of our historic sailing vessel, S.V. Glenlee.
Any donation you can make will help greatly with this work.

Adults: £15
Concessions: £10
Family ticket (includes up to 2 Adults and 3 Children): £25
Funds generated by the Friends will support the maintenance of Glenlee and also help to fund volunteer projects on site, such as the restoration of the Kelvinhaugh Ferry, which was the last passenger ferry to be used in Glasgow by the Clyde Navigation Trust.
You will be making a real contribution towards enabling us to preserve the story of the Glenlee and the mighty river on which she was built for a new generation!
Volunteering
Volunteers have been essential to the progress of the organisation since the restoration of the Glenlee began in 1993. We opened to the public in 1999 and volunteers continue to play a vital role in our development.
There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available:
- Front of House and Events staff
- Tour Guides and Costumed Interpreters
- Education and Schools Assistants
- Ship Maintenance Staff
