The Tall Ship at Riverside offers a range of exciting curriculum linked workshops for school pupils and tours for learners of all ages and abilities.

All sessions and self led visits MUST be booked in advance.

There are toilet facilities and a fully accessible lift onboard the ship.<\/p>\n

All workshops and tours can be adapted for ASN. <\/p>\n

All booked workshops and tours include time and space for pupils to have a packed lunch. <\/p>\n

The lunch area can be pre-booked outwith workshops for £20 (30 mins) when availability permits.<\/p>

Pirate Lunch Boxes and Lunch Deals for teachers are available to pre-book prior to your visit. Please ask for more info at time of booking.<\/span><\/p>


Cancellation Policy<\/span><\/h2>

We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee (of up to 50% of the total fee) for bookings cancelled less than 14 days before the visit. <\/span><\/p>



Gift Shop<\/span><\/h2>


School groups are very welcome to visit the gift shop with up to 15 pupils in the shop at any one time. Please supervise pupils at all times. Goody bags can be pre-purchased in advance from the shop. For more info please ask at time of booking on 0141 330 9077.<\/span><\/p>



Guided Tours of The Tall Ship  (Suitable for P1-S3)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Pupils are encouraged to learn about the history of The Tall Ship by uncovering first hand evidence at their fingertips. During the guided tour, pupils trace the history of the Glenlee, and the stories of those who lived and worked aboard her. Investigate the overcrowded living quarters, delve below decks into the cargo hold, explore the engine room and take the helm as pupils discover what life was like at sea on a late Victorian sailing ship.<\/span><\/p>\n
